Ooooh exciting times indeed! This is slightly belated as it’s just one manic rush here but I really wanted to post a quick update on the Australia front. The short of it is, I’m going, bloody quickly too!

I’ve been offered a place in a really exciting digital agency in Aus called Visual Jazz. I’m hoping to continue building on my Flash Development career there with maybe a tad of iOS work and hopefully a smattering of Unity3D or HTML5 development too. We’re spoilt for choice at the moment, so many good technologies so little time!

So I’m currently in the process of either selling or boxing my entire life as quickly as possible as I begin work on the 4th October. The flights are booked for the 22nd September so that gives me 11 days.. ooer. We will be touching down in Sydney around 07:15 and probably lost and wondering the streets by 07:45. We’re really excited about the move, not just for the new life in Sydney (I think the Melbourne guys call us Sydney-Siders?) but after having a few chats with the chaps at Visual Jazz it sounds like it’s going to be a great opportunity for me to get on board with a fun and edgy digital agency creating some fantastic work (6 FWA’s!).
